NAS Corpus Christi - Tactical Air Navigation System Repairs
This project involved demolishing the existing Tactical Air Navigation System (TACAN) structure at the Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi and reconstructing a new structure. LNV provided all labor, material, tools, supervision and other efforts required for the complete roof replacement of Building 1236. The complete replacement of the counterpoise structure over Building 1236 to match existing conditions, returning the courtesies/TACAN/VOR to a usable condition in order to successfully pass a flight test. The complete replacement of interior electrical distribution system including panelboards, conduit and wiring, grounding bus and grounding system, receptacles, lighting and lightning protection system plus the addition of a government furnished, contractor installed, UPS unit in Building 1236. The complete replacement of disconnect switches, wireways, conduit and wiring on outside of Building 1246 and Building 1237.
